Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) and the unique impact it continues to pose to our community, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Bank of America Chicago 13.1. Learn more.

Count down to race day


Join us race weekend for a three-day festival featuring a mix of fitness and lifestyle activations designed to inspire you to connect with and better the communities where we live, work and run. The pre-race festival is the home of the packet pick-up for all runners.

The festival is free and open to the public.

Location & hours

Union Park, Chicago
1501 W. Randolph Street

  • Friday, June 4, 2021: 12 to 8 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 5, 2021: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, June 6, 2021: 8:30 a.m. to 1p.m.

Packet pick-up

Your participant packet and bag include:

  • Bib number and safety pins
  • Timing device
  • Participant running shirt
  • Gear check bag

Runner packets and bags must be picked up during the pre-race festival on Friday and Saturday, during regularly scheduled hours. Runners who sign up and pay for race day packet pick-up, can pick-up their race materials starting at 5 a.m. on race day.

Runners must present their packet pick-up ticket email along with a photo ID in order to receive their participant packet.

You must pick up your participant packet and gear check bag in person during regularly scheduled hours. Individuals will not be allowed to pick up these items on behalf of others.

Metra train service
Coming into the city from the suburbs? Take Metra to the event! Chicago’s primary hubs, Union Station and Ogilvie Transportation Center are a quick walk to and from the event. If you are coming in on Saturday and Sunday, we encourage you to take advantage of Metra’s $10 weekend pass for unlimited rides.
