The Bank of America Chicago 13.1 returns to the historic parks and boulevards of the city’s West Side on Sunday, June 6, 2027. The sixth annual race builds on the vision to reimagine what running can be in Chicago, offering a weekend of health and wellness-based activities for event participants and community members.
The one-of-a-kind event starts and finishes in Garfield Park, the oldest park on the West Side, and travels through Humboldt and Douglass Parks while traversing the neighborhoods that line the boulevards connecting all three parks.
The Bank of America Chicago 13.1 is a celebration of Chicago’s vibrant and diverse running community. The Race Day Festival, held in conjunction with the half marathon, helps to realize this vision by creating a unique and fun atmosphere for event participants and community members.
Garfield Park acts as the backdrop for the Race Day Festival. The free outdoor celebration features a mix of entertainment, health and wellness activities and community activations.
